The Prompt Writer

Always have something to write about

Paranormal Romantics, Rejoice

Anyone out there remember that song from Sesame Street? Who are the people in your neighborhood? I always think about that song when I look at my BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog stats. I love checking out the people that come around to read my prompts, or just my weirdness at my other site. But, every once in awhile, I come across someone who has a site I just have to pass along. And, that’s what this post is all about.

Today, I noticed a lady by the name of Digigirl had stumbled upon my little site, and something told me to go check out her site too. And I’m glad I did. I’d like to introduce DigiGirl’s Library. A home for paranormal romance. I love the paranormal, and throwing a little romance into the mix is pretty cool. But, it’s not just a site for her own work, she’s opened up her site to all authors of this genre.

DigiGirl’s Library is designed as a review site for books of this genre. She invites like-minded readers to come along and share their views of various books. She also showcases up and coming authors in the field, upcoming books in the genre, and has a huge list of books already on the market. She even includes video trailers of upcoming books. If it’s got something to do with the paranormal and romance, you should be able to find it here.

The coolest thing about this site is that you can sign up as a member and get in on all the action. Are you an avid reader in this genre? If so, you could end up on DigiGirl’s top 10 reviewers list. As of right now, it wouldn’t take much. But, if this site gets any bigger, there could be some competition. Go check her out. I think it’s worth the time, especially if you’re alone in the dark.

I love your blog! I haven’t thought about that song in a very long time, so thanks for bringing back some memories of the good old days!

I will have to check out BlogCatalog as well.

    Thomas :)

    Hey Terry,
Thanks for dropping around. Interning at BlogCatalog has got to a blast. I’m jealous. LOL. As a writer, I think your experience would make a great Human Interest piece. I hope you’ve been keeping a journal of the whole thing.

    Thomas,
Thank you. Very rarely do I get the pleasure of hearing someone how they feel about the site. It’s comments like yours that keep me striving for new writing prompts to hand out. And the fact that the song brought back memories gives me a great idea for my next round of prompts. Whoo Hoo.

Oops,—–Sorry Thomas. Make that “rarely do I get the pleasure of hearing someone TELL ME how they feel about the site.

I haven’t had my 40-11th cup of coffee yet, fingers aren’t awake. LOL
