New Forum For Giveaways
Hey kids. So since I had already decided that Fridays were going to be an anything goes type of day anyway, I figured this would be a good place to post about my brand new forum. It’s called the Wanna Win Forum and I’d really like to turn it into a place where anyone and everyone who is holding a giveaway or contest can go and post about their sites and stuff. I’ve also added categories for people’s shops and sales they’ve got going on in those shops.
So, why did I go and do something like this??? Well you can all than Facebook and their new policies. It seems that Facebook has decided that blog owners and publishers can no longer put up posts about their giveaways, nor can they use Facebook as an entry into their contests. Personally, I think that sucks, but I’m just someone who’s gone to great lengths to help make Facebook the site it is today, as have we all. And this is how they thank us, they kick us in the teeth. Well raspberries on them. (Not what I wanted to say, but this is a family friendly show).
So what can a person do on my new forum??? I’m still working on that, but for right now you can post about your giveaways and contests. Be sure to leave a link so we can all find you and make sure to leave an update when it’s over and maybe even a congrats to the winner. You can also put up a post about your online store and any sales you might have going on. I’m going to try and keep everyone from talking about their products one at a time, but we’ll see how that goes.
I’ve also put in a place where we can talk about our blog hops, we can introduce ourselves, and we have a corner where we can just sit and talk about the weather/news/what we had for breakfast. Whatever floats your boat, baby. As long as everyone plays nice, we’ll be okie dokie.
So stop by and check out the site. I’ll probably be adding specific categories for giveaways before it’s over, which means there will be one whole section just for book giveaways. We’ll see how many people I can get to sign up before I go adding too many places to play. And please understand that this is still a work in progress so it might not be the prettiest place in town, but it will get better.
