NaBloPoMo A Post Per Day
In an effort to get some new stuff on this site, I’m throwing it into this month’s NaBloPoMo post per day. The theme for this month is FICTION, and what better topic for this site than that? I’ve got a lot of ideas as to what to do to keep this site in the running, but not exactly sure what will happen from day to day. I’m going to do a bunch of posts and put them in the draft department, just in case. I’ve also found some really cool sites that help short story authors with their submissions, as well as several zines that are currently accepting submissions.
And, of course, I’ll be posting some new writing prompts—especially in the fictional categories. I’ve been trying to get back into writing fiction and this was as good an excuse as any I’ve seen so far. I’m hoping that if I can keep this going for the entire month, maybe I’ll find what I need inside to keep my fictional writing habits up as well. I will still be writing my articles and doing the ghost writing I’ve been doing for the past few years, but fiction has always been my first and truest love.
I’ll also be adding a few posts about book blogs and giveaways. I’m always trying to win copies of the newest releases and I love reading about the books themselves. I’ve found several sites that are dedicated to the art of book reviews, most of which only look at fiction. So I’ll have plenty of fodder to work with.
So here’s to the entire month of August being filled with everything FICTION. It’s a subject dear to my heart and I think this will be a lot of fun to work with.
