The Prompt Writer

Okay, technically this should have been posted many hours ago, but I’ve just spent the past 6 hours trying to find something cool for writers that would fit into this section. Friday Free For All isn’t going to just be about free stuff, but I am going to try and find some cool things that I think all my little writer buddies will like from time to time.

Please bare with me as I’m still working out the kinks in my new formatting ideas. I know most people would be smart enough to take the time to work out these little bugs before they went live with them, but I’ve always been a jump in with both feet kinda girl. Plus, my plan is to get an entire week’s worth of posts done over the weekend, which is why there are no set categories for Saturdays and Sundays.

Anyway, after nearly going crazy looking for some cool freebies for writers, I have managed to find a site that has a whole list of cool WordPress themes that are made to look like magazine covers. These are really cool themes for anyone who runs an online e-zine or is thinking about starting one. I used to run a weekly newsletter, and there are a few of these themes that would have made my newsletter a whole bunch better.

I will be the first one to admit that I totally suck when it comes to adding graphics to my blog posts. Mainly because I’m so afraid that I’m going to accidentally post a pic that is copyrighted and I’d never forgive myself. However, if you run an e-zine or newsletter and are in the market for an outstanding theme, you should really check this site out.

Hopefully, I’ll find something really cool for next week. But then again, I may just come up with something completely different. You never know with me. LOL.
