One of the biggest reasons writers get rejected is because of the grammar in their work.  This goes for fiction writers as well as non-fiction writers.  And though it’s not that tough to go over and check all the grammar in a 250 to 500 word article, trying to do so with a 50,000 word story might end up taking several weeks and/or months.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have a program that would do all the work for you?  Well there is.

Graviax Grammar Checker is a free download that runs through your documents and lets you know if there are any grammar mistakes and whether or not you’re using all the words properly.  This program is registered through the SourceForge.net company and currently is only set up to check English language documents.  And it may be the basis for a grammar program for the OpenSource project.
