The Prompt Writer is the brain child of Christine Senter.  I created TPW in December of 2003 as a way to offer writing ideas to my fellow writers.  It began when I was trying to come up with some ideas of my own to write about.  I grabbed a new notebook and just started writing some ideas down.  Over time, I ended up filling up 3 notebooks and decided to pass some of the ideas along to other writers.

Along with the website, I also ran a newsletter of the same name, and even ended up writing an e-book called Written Promptly Everyday that offered 365 writing prompts, one for every day of the year.  TPW was my passion.  Then, I began working in the blogging industry and TPW got put on the back burner.  I kept the domain name, and let the site remain, but never got it updated.  Finally, I decided it was time to bring this site up to date and breathe some new life into it. 

I hope to get TPW back into the forefront of my writing endeavors and offer my fellow writers some new ideas to keep their creative juices flowing.  Welcome to the new and improved–The Prompt Writer.
